Saturday and evening students, please remember that you are expected to devote your lab time to class work and that lab computers should be used only for tasks related to class assignments. The same policy applies to students with their own laptops. Please know that you may lose points for attendance/participation if you are spending significant portions of your lab period socializing with other students, instant messaging, checking My Space, etc. At this point in the quarter, you should all have plenty of work left to do. If you are uncertain as to what you should be working on, please see Barbara or me immediately for clarification.
English 98 and 99 students: remember that you should be working on your chapters/quizzes on your own. If you need help, see Barbara or me. There is no reason for several students to be gathered around a computer when one student is taking a My Writing Lab quiz.
